Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we finish up for the summer, I want to thank you for all of your support throughout the school year. The strong connection between home and school is something we value greatly, and we are thankful for your continued support.

It has been a busy year filled with learning, growth, achievements and memorable moments. The children have worked hard, embraced new opportunities and represented our school so well. We are so very proud of them all.

Please keep an eye on Aladdin on Monday, when our final newsletter of the year will be issued. It will share highlights from Term 3, important calendar information for the new school year, and our Back to School Learning Toolkits. Once again, the school will purchase all workbooks and copies for the children, meaning families only need to purchase essential stationery and folders. Full details will be outlined in the toolkit.

A huge well done to our Junior Infants, who have just completed their first year of primary school. What a year it has been for them! We know they are ready to step into their new role as the experienced members of the Junior Room when we welcome our new Junior Infants at the end of August.

A special mention must also go to our 6th Class Graduates. They leave with our very best wishes as they begin the next stage of their journey. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them and look forward to hearing about all they achieve in the years ahead.

I would also like to acknowledge and thank our wonderful staff team. Their dedication, care and commitment to the children each day is what makes BCNS such a special place to learn and grow. They consistently go above and beyond to provide the very best experiences for our pupils, and we are extremely grateful for all that they do.

I hope that the summer break brings an opportunity for everyone to slow down, enjoy some family time and recharge after a busy year.

Thank you again for your support throughout the year. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in August.
