I am delighted to share that, following our 3rd–6th Class Quiz Trials, your child has been selected to represent the school in the 2026 Credit Union Quiz.

This year, Round One – The Kildare Branch Quiz will take place on Monday 9th February at 11:00am in Kildare Town Community School.

Our school will field teams in the following categories:

Competition A: Under 11

Competition B: Under 13 

The competition will take place during school time. Children will travel by bus, accompanied by Múinteoir Eimear and Suzanne.

To help your child prepare, you can encourage regular reading, discussion of current events, and practice with general knowledge or quiz-style questions in a fun and relaxed way. We have attached two sample quiz rounds — one from Stage One and another from Stage Two of the competition — to support preparation at home. 

At school, we are also supporting pupils with their preparation. Teams are assigning areas of expertise to each member, and daily practice is taking place to build confidence and teamwork.

Following this Aladdin notice, you will shortly receive an Aladdin permission request seeking consent for your child to attend.

If, for any reason, your child is unable to attend, we kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible, as organisers do not permit on-the-day substitutes.
