Dear Junior Infant Parents and Guardians,
It’s hard to believe that we are already nearing your child’s first day of primary school! We hope you are all enjoying the summer and looking forward to this very special milestone.
We have attached a Junior Infant Welcome Letter with everything you need ahead of the first day, including:
- Junior Infant phased starting times
- What your child will need to bring
- Junior Infant Learning Toolkit
- 2026/2027 School Calendar.
For ease of reference, we are also resharing the Junior Infant Welcome Padlet. To access it, you can click the link below:

Múinteoir Síle, Múinteoir Eimear and all of us at BCNS are really looking forward to welcoming our new Junior Infants on Tuesday, 25th August.
Enjoy the rest of the summer and we’ll see you very soon!
Warm regards,
