Re: Welcome Back to School – Important Information for Families 

Dear Parents and Guardians, 

We are excited to welcome our students back for a new school year! As we prepare for a successful start, please take note of the following important information: 

    • Junior Infants First Day of School: Tuesday, 26th of August 
  • School Hours: 09:30 – 11:00 
  • Whole School Return to School: Wednesday the 27th of August 
  • School Hours: 08:50 – 14:30 (*13:30 for Junior & Senior Infants) 

Junior Infants Phased School Start: 

  • Tuesday 26th & Wednesday 27th of August: 09:30 – 11:00 
  • Thursday 28th & Friday 29th of August: 08:50 – 12:00 
  • From Monday 1st of September: 08:50 – 13:30 (normal school schedule). 

Class Teachers: 

We wish Múinteoir Eoin the very best as he embarks on a career break for the 2025-2026 school year. In his place, we are delighted to welcome Sofia di Stefano to the BCNS team!

Arrival & Dismissal Procedures: 

School gates open at 08:40 and drop-off is at the set down area. We ask that families do not use the Church Car Park.

School Crests 

School crests are €5 each and may be purchased using the Aladdin payment link or in cash. School crests may be collected from the office of the 1885 school building on: 

  • Thursday the 21st of August between 8:30am and 12 noon 
  • Tuesday the 26th of August between 10am and 1pm.
