Dear Parents/Guardians,

This is a reminder that the school will be closed this Friday the 30th of January to facilitate teacher professional development (CPD) as part of the introduction of the Primary Curriculum Framework (PCF).

The training will be delivered by Oide, the Department of Education’s national support service for teachers and school leaders. This training day will serve as an introduction to the Primary Curriculum Framework rather than on individual curriculum areas. The training day forms part of a gradual national rollout with Friday  focusing on the eight principles of learning, teaching and assessment within the Primary Curriculum Framework. 

A reminder that this school closure runs into the bank holiday weekend with pupils returning to class on Tuesday the 3rd of February.
