Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are writing to inform you that a case of head lice has been identified in our school community. While this is a common issue among school-aged children, we want to ensure that all families are aware so we can work together to prevent further spread.
At this time, we ask that you please:
- Check your child’s hair and scalp carefully for signs of head lice or nits (eggs).
- Treat promptly if you find any evidence of lice. Over-the-counter treatments are widely available, and your pharmacist can provide guidance if needed.
- Remind your child to avoid sharing hats, hair accessories, headphones, or personal items that come into contact with hair.
- Notify the school if your child is found to have head lice so we can continue monitoring and respond appropriately.
Please note that the presence of head lice is not a reflection of cleanliness, and it can happen to anyone. Our goal is to manage the situation quickly, discreetly, and effectively.
