The Brannoxtown Community National School (CNS) Uniform Policy represents our commitment to supporting children to be well-presented at all times in school while ensuring that uniform costs are kept to a minimum for parents.
Navy and blue are our uniform colours; these were the traditional colours of the school. Children enrolled during the first year of our school, from September 2018, are leading the design and development of our new school crest, ensuring it represents our school values and our sense of belonging to our community and locality. The school uniform includes a School Tracksuit and Formal School Uniform:
- Navy tracksuit legs
- Blue polo-shirt.
Formal School Uniform
- Navy trousers, skirt or pinafore
- Navy cardigan or jumper
- Blue shirt
- Navy tie with narrow diagonal, blue stripes (available from the school during the 2018/2019 school year).
Days for School Tracksuit and Formal School Uniform
Children wear their school tracksuit three days each week; the formal school uniform is worn on the other two days. Tracksuit days follow children’s schedule for Physical Education (PE), Visual Arts (Art) and Drama.
For the 2019/2020 school year:
- School Tracksuit Days: Monday, Tuesday and Friday
- School Uniform Days: Wednesday and Thursday.
To help children to take responsibility for their belongings, we ask that you label your child’s uniform items with his/her name.
This School Uniform Policy was adopted by the Single School Manager of Brannoxtown CNS on 28th August 2018.
