Dear families,
We are delighted to support past pupil of Brannoxtown CNS, Lucas Flynn, in his efforts to raise €2000 for a charity called the Hope Foundation, a charity that helps children living in poverty in India.
Please see Lucas’ message below, he is looking for your support in donating pre-loved books which he will use to set up a Book Sale here at Brannoxtown CNS in the second week of November.
My name is Lucas Flynn, and I am a former pupil of Brannoxtown CNS. I am currently in TY and I am taking part in the Hope Immersion Programme. For this I aim to raising €2000 in aid of the Hope Foundation’s projects. These projects work with children in slums in Kolkata, in helping give them education and looking after their health. To raise money I am doing a second hand book sale in the school. I would be very grateful for book donations, both children’s and adults’, that others can buy. This is a good way of reusing books that you no longer want, and making them more accessible. I would be grateful for your help, and I look forward to seeing you at the book sale.
Thanks,
Lucas
